Speed Knob

I have a Weslo Cadence 200 CS treadmill. It was stored and now it will turn on rarely. What is the problem?

A couple of times I have turned the speed knob several times and also wiggled the red button that starts it, and it would eventually start. It was stored in a storage building. Any ideas?
