How do I get a matte finish with my makeup?

I have small bumps on my face and dry skin what would be the best makeup for me and how do I still get the matte finish?

while a lot of brands make matte finish foundations you may want to focus more on skincare and foundation application technique. Be sure to develop a good skincare routine that includes cleansing, exfoliating, toning and moisturizing with a masque as needed. When you apply your foundation be sure you are using clean tools (brush, sponge) each and every time. Once you apply the foundation take a 2 ply face tissue and separate it. Use one side to press against your foundation, do not rub, to remove the excess oil from your skin. The color deposited will remain. Finish with your desired powder of choice but it may not be necessary. Hope this helps but if you need more explanation ask away!
