What is EXACTLY a GIRL GUITAR?

What are the basic differences between a normal guitar and a GIRL GUITAR? I am 5′7″, 19yrs old and of heavy build. So, is a GIRL GUITAR suitable for me? or shud i just pick up a regular electric? MUCHAS!

I’ve never heard of a girl guitar, but back in the late 90s Fender came out with Signature guitars, which were copies of the Stratocasters and Telecasters used by the “stars” and I remember there was a Bonnie Raitt signature guitar, and one of the features was that the neck is smaller around because women tend to have smaller hands. It has some other features like her strat but that’s the main difference. I have a squire and an American Standard, though, and I don’t have a problem grasping the neck even though my hands are smaller than a guy’s.
If you’re shopping for a guitar the best thing to do in my opinion is to go try the various guitars out. There just has to be that magic there, or that connection, which you won’t know until you try it out.
