What kind of Distortion Pedal does Burning The Masses use?

I’m looking to buy a new distortion pedal, and can’t find out what type of pedal burning the masses uses.
Also, if anyone knows what Born of Osiris or The Faceless uses that would be helpful, thanks.

I would imagine that most bands use distortion straight from their amplifier as opposed to using a distortion pedal. I saw on Born of Osiris’s myspace that they use Randall amps. I’d bet money that they just use their amp for distortion. If you want an amp with good distortion then get a tube amp. Probably a halfstack. for a good metal sound go with a mesa dual rectifier or a crate blue voodoo tube head. Randall also makes good metal stuff. also krank and marshall jcm is pretty good. if you just want a pedal then you should just go with a boss metal zone pedal and use it through your clean channel. go to your local guitar store and play around with different amp/pedal combos. hope this helped
