Musician’s Gear Deluxe Bass Case?

I ordered it in black, and I’m worrying a little bit. I am hoping that this case will just keep my bass in pristine condition. I wont be that upset if the case dings, I just want the base to be in good condition. Can someone clarify this for me?

Like any hard case, it will give your guitar some degree of protection. Since the case is not custom fitted to your particular guitar, you may need to add some additional padding to prevent the guitar from sliding around in the case. Even in a hard case, the guitar can get damaged. You do reduce the risk of damage with a hard case, but you do not eliminate it

I have used towels to pad my guitar inside the case when the guitar did not fit well. One thing you do not want to use is foam. As it degenerates (and it will) it can damage the finish of the guitar. That is why I used old bath towels.
