7 Year Warranty Now On All Kia’s
Kia has extended its unique seven-year warranty to all its vehicles across the range ..
.. delivering Europe’s best manufacturer-backed protection for new car buyers.
Previously available on Kia’s European-built products such as cee’d and Sportage, the seven-year warranty now applies to every vehicle in the Kia range from the Kia Picanto city car to the range-topping Sorento.
The new “7-Year Kia Warranty” will apply to all vehicles sold and registered in more than 20 European countries after 1 January 2010 and is transferable to subsequent owners.
The new 7-Year Kia Warranty is the longest warranty available on any car, anywhere in Europe.
The 7 year warranty is a full manufacturer’s warranty. The exact terms and conditions vary slightly between models but as a minimum:
• No mileage limit during the first 3 years, except for vehicles used as taxis where a limit of 100,000 miles applies
• 100,000 mile limit between years 4 and 7
• Paintwork is covered for 5 years / 100,000 miles
• Audio is covered for 3 years / 60,000 miles
• Batteries are covered for 2 years
• Normal ‘wear and tear’ on items such as brake linings and clutch linings, etc, are excluded from cover
• Transferable to subsequent owners
• Valid across Europe
