Can a gutar shop install pickups in a guitar for you?
If I brought my squire bullet to a guitar shop would they swap the pups out for me? How much would it cost for adding three pups? Could they add in a lace sensor, a vintage noiseless, and a YJM that I provide? And finally how much would it cost at Guitar Center? WINNER GETS 10 POINTS!!
Of course they can. Hopefully they are all single coils. YOU can do it, too. Very simple. Just understand which wires attach to what, and solder them into place. Usually the PU’s have a little schematic that tells you which color goes to the volume, and which to the tone pots. It’s easy to do. Besides, you haven’t told us where you live or anything, so knowing the exact price is impossible. My guy would charge about $60 for that, or one hour’s labor.
