Head Pedal
Will my Digitech Death Metal Pedal work good with my Marshall MG100DFX?
I want a pedal to get the sounds of metal bands such as slipknot, metallica, pantera, drowning pool etc and also alternative bands such as nickelback, seether etc. Will this pedal satisfy me or I can get these effects from the amp itself? Or should I use the Digitecch Hot Head pedal or the boss ds-1 pedal? Please help me guys..
either digi tech death metal or digitech grunge. The death metal pedal is such an overdriven sound that if you use any distortion on your amp, you will almost definitelyy feed back even with passive pickups. The grunge is a very versitile pedal. Check out this page to get a feel for all of the digitech pedals (http://www.digitech.com/DistortSamples.htm) Realistically, as a sound engineer, i would say go for a mixture of the pregain on the Marshall and use the grunge pedal for adding umph. The death metal is just a little too much in my opinion.
