Should Orianthi dump pop music and focus on Rock Guitar and form a rock band?
With her skills on guitar, she needs to stay with hard rock and form a band. Being a pop musician is a waste of her god given talent.

Quite honestly, I’m just not a big fan of Orianthia and, no–it’s not because she’s a female guitarist. I mean, sure–she can play guitar…and better than a number of people. It’s just that, to be quite honest, it seems that she doesn’t know how to write solos that fit her songs. I don’t think it’s a matter of what genre she’s playing and, instead, it seems to be that she’s just not as good as she’s been made out to be. And what I said about her solos not fitting her own songs also goes for that performance of Carrie Underwood’s “Last Name” at the Grammy’s a while back when Orianthi played guitar…like on all of the songs I’ve heard from Orianthi’s solo album, her guitar work just didn’t fit the song.
Sue Foley and Ana Popovic are two female guitarists who are much better than Orianthi, if you ask me. Of course, unlike Orianthi, they’re not famous because they’re female guitarists and, instead, they’re overlooked and underrated because they’re female guitarists.
