How much would it cost to ship a guitar to Japan (from San Diego)?
How much would it cost to ship a guitar to Japan? Like generally? Would it be better, since i’m flying there with either ANA or JAL, to pay for the extra seat so I can take my guitar with me on the airplane? The extra seat will cost about 10,000 yen, which is about $110.
Would it be cheaper just to mail it there, or should I pay the extra price?
Well looking at some basic FedEx shipping rates, its looking like you would pay roughly 180 – 200 dollars to ship it. Probably better to take it with you.
