Is te electric guitar hard to play?
I want to play the electric guitar sooo BADLY!! but is it hard to play? I know it is a little, but is it sooo hard that i’ll just give up?
i want to play this instrament. damnn!! i just wana knowif its hard for me to play..( by the way its for a 13 year old)
If you want to play it that badly, then you will not give up even if you find it hard. If you find it a little bit hard and give up, then you didn’t want to play it badly enough.
It’s quite easy to sound OK on electric guitar – like any other instrument, it’s much harder to sound brilliant on it. The learning curve starts out shallow, stays like that for a long time, and then goes very steep. Try it anyway, and have fun.
PS – Don’t listen to anyone who says you should learn acoustic guitar first. They are completely different instruments. The notes are in the same place, but from a technical and philosophical and holistic point of view they are completely different and demand not just different styles of playing but entirely different mental and physical approaches. If you want to learn electric guitar, then you are just wasting money getting an acoustic first, because it will teach you very little about how to approach playing electric.
