Amp Patch

How to connect 4 speakers and 1 sub to amp with only 2 preouts?
I just bought a 5 channel amp (Kenwood KAC-7005PS) and I would like to connect all 4 of my speakers individually to it and also a sub.
But my head unit only has two preouts. How would I set this up?
The head unit’s preouts have one pair for the front speakers and the other pair is for the rear speakers OR the sub. This setting is interchangable through the head unit.
Should I connect the front and rear speakers to the amp (through the front speakers preout) as one connector from the head unit and run a ’splitter’ cable so that I can separate them before the amp? The other preout will be used for the sub.
Will this cause problems?
I am open to all other suggestions.
gusism’s suggestion will work well.
Use the rear speaker outputs on the head unit with a LOC and connect the patch cables from the LOC to the “rear” input of the amp.
Use the front RCA outs to he “front” of the amp, then the rear/sub outputs on the head unit to the “sub” input on the amp.
Most head units are setup so when you choose the “sub” out for the RCA connectors, they are unaffected by the fader.
